Module content | The module will enable the oral hygiene student to diagnose the oral health problems of any given community. Application of the knowledge gained from the module will enable him/her to participate in relevant primary and secondary preventive programmes to improve the oral health of that community in accordance with the public Oral Health Policy of the RSA. Oral hygiene students will visit special schools, nursery schools and hospitals where oral health programmes are implemented and maintained. |
